Limit break 1: "Silver lining"
Synthesis performs an impressive kata where he stands, and several
arcs of silver light flies out, causing damage to any opponent it hits.
Limit break 2: "Life's end"
Synthesis raises his fork over his head, and then stabs it into
the ground. Life energy will drain out of all opponents and converge on the
grounded fork, channeling into Synthesis. Causes damage to opponents, often
enough to kill or at least severely harm weaker foes, and restores HP to
Synthesis.

Background story:
Synthesis used to be a happy member of the Jenova family, tending
to his mother's needs and desires and gaining status in the clone collective
(being fully human in appearance was another advantage). However one day he
mysteriously vanished from the face of the Planet, never to be seen again... or
so people thought. (not many people, though. Being a Sephiroth clone meant not
having many social contacts outside the family.)
In actuality, Synthesis had been whisked off by forces unknown to another world, where he was forced to accompany a lion, a talking horse, a hyperactive teenaged girl and her annoying yap dog, in an elaborate scheme to take over the world! Or perhaps not. He's never told anyone what happened.
However, when he finally returned home, he found that
things had changed... Jenova had permanently broken his mind link, deemed him
useless, and ordered his former brethren to kill Synthesis if they happened to
come across him somewhere. Not even a full death sentence, just "Oh, if you see
Synthesis somewhere, kill the nuisance." Desiring vengeance, Synthesis swore
upon the skull of some guy who had died outside Midgar to get revenge on his
accursed mother. Aligning himself with The
Planet was decided to be the best next action, as it
would hopefully jam the gears of some of the alien's machinations. Since then,
he's set out in the world with more determination than actual direction.
Hopefully he'll figure out something to do, or find someone who knows.
Synthesis is rather tall, has long hair like Sephiroth (only black instead of silver), and also wears identical clothes as The Master. He tends to be arrogant and somewhat bitter, and only offers a smile when he's pleased with current events. He hates Jenova with a passion, but occasionally has to fight down the desire to return to her. He's decided that his path is set, and he will not deviate. He almost never shows weaknesses on the outside, and indecision is considered a weakness above all. However, this may change as the story goes on.
Synthesis wields his 7-foot fork with the ease and skill of a seasoned warrior. While being an oversized extremely sharp piece of cutlery, it's actually a very dangerous weapon. People who question this tends to have this demonstrated to them first-hand.
Synthesis also has a pet/companion around: Caffeine, a black chocobo. Depending on
the verdict of The Power That Be's, she'll show up somewhere.
Jonatan's comment: DGMLers will recognize Synthesis from OW!!. I'm hoping to develop his character a bit here, though. Hopefully it will have good results... heck, any result is good.
